Emergency Preparedness

We are required to host various emergency drills throughout the year to ensure that our students and staff will be adequately prepared during a real emergency.  I have included a table below from LAUSD Ref-Guide 5803.5 that speaks to the drills and its frequency. 

You can help prepare your child by speaking to him/her/them about the importance of listening carefully and following the directions of the  teachers and supervisors outside.  These are only practice drills, so they should not be alarmed or scared.
