    Students will need their mymail lausd username and password to access their coursework on Schoology.

    In addition to Schoology and the Parent Portal, many of our teachers are using the Class Dojo app. Are you staying connected with us on Dojo? Click on the link below to sign up. You will need a CODE from your teacher to join his/her specific class.

    Summer School

    Multnomah will be hosting summer school for students from Multnomah, Chavez, Farmdale, Sierra Park, Sierra Vista, and El Sereno.  COS Summer School will run from June 22nd - July 23rd from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm daily. Students may attend in person or online. This is pre-selected before the first day of school. 

    If you have applied, letters will be going home during the week of June 14th with details about Summer School. Your summer school teachers will also be reaching out to introduce themselves.

    Students attending IN PERSON will need to have their baseline test in our Daily Pass database by Monday, June 21st. The mobile unit will be at Multnomah Street Elementary on Friday, June 18th from 8:30-2:30. Please pull into the staff parking lot and walk up to the tent in front of our basketball courts.  No appointments needed.  Then try to get a daily pass @ on Monday to make sure it works for our first day of school on Tuesday.

    For your first day of school, you will do the following: 

    1. Fill up your water bottle with fresh water. Put your name on it.

    2. Have a few face masks ready. One to wear, one-two as backups in your backpack.

    3. Request a daily pass. Parents, you will need to log onto your Parent Portal and request a pass for your child since they are under 13. 

    4. Arrive no later than 8:25 am. Class begins promptly at 8:30 am and class dismisses promptly at 12:00 pm. 


    Students attending ONLINE are invited to join us for a materials grab and go on Monday, June 21st from 10:00-11:30 am. We are providing basic supplies for your online school participation. Multnomah students in need of technology should contact the main office. All other students from the feeder schools will need to contact their home school for technology.  For your first day of instruction, you will do the following: 

    1. Log onto

    2. Sign in your your mymail username and password. 

    3. Click on your course. 

    4. Click to enter your Summer School teacher's Zoom @ 8:30 am.


    For families who needs after school child care, Beyond the Bell is hosting child care from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm @ Multnomah. Space is limited and first come first served. If interested, fill out your application here. Please make sure this is filled out and return the first day of school so that your child may stay. If there is no form on file, your child may not stay in the after school program. 


    Students and staff coming to school on campus will be required to have a daily pass (every day) as well as pass a temperature check.  Everyone on campus will be required to wear a face mask. This is mandatory.

    2021-2022 School Year

    Our new year will begin on August 16, 2021.  We will be fully in person with regular class sizes.  Regular school hours are 8:10 am - 2:29 pm.  Minimum banked days will be on Tuesdays with school hours begin 8:10 am - 1:29 pm.  Families who wish to stay with online learning will have to sign up with Independent Studies with City of Angels. More information forthcoming.

    **It is best you use the Parents Portal because if you are scheduling an appointment for your child, you will need his/her ID number. **

    The preferred method of the CoVid test is the nasal swab, however, you may ask for the saliva test in lieu of the nasal swab if preferred.
